It is recommended to reinforce the seams with double overlocking and additional backing. Due to its "intrinsic" characteristics as a plastic material, this textile could open at the seams from slippage; these are the same characteristics that give it outstanding durability and better aging than other synthetic fibers.
To prevent dirt, frequent vacuuming or light brushing to remove dust is recommended. It can be washed at low temperature (< 90°F / 30°C) with warm water using neutral soap. Do not tumble dry and avoid ironing the fabric. Excessive heat shrinks the fabric. Air dry or dry flat.
Do not place near reflective materials or heating elements. Non-greasy marks: spot clean with warm water and half a tablespoon of standard laundry soap dissolved in a cup of hot water. Clean the stain with a cloth or sponge soaked in this solution, working from the outside in. Do not rub. Once the stain is clean, soak the area with clean water to remove any soap residue. Do not use stain removers. If a heavily chlorinated cleaner is used, do not let it dry in direct sun.
Use and care: although Outdoor fabrics are for outdoor use, mildew and mold can appear if the fabric stays damp for too long.
Sunlight exposure: UV-resistant; prolonged exposure to sunlight will eventually affect the strength and color of the fibers. Especially in very hot climates, it is best to seek shade as far as possible or create it with parasols, awnings or plants, and to use protective covers when the furniture is not in use.
Rain exposure: water-resistant; however, rain usually contains dirt and air pollution that can wear out the fabric, and prolonged exposure to rain and damp can cause mildew and mold. For these reasons, cushions should be stored separately or furniture protected with covers when rain is forecast, and furniture should never be left exposed to rain or damp for a long time.
