The mirror-polished 316L stainless steel quick-lock base socket can be installed flush with the deck and has a self-lifting cap: when the pole is fitted, the cap retracts into the socket without needing to be removed; when the pole is released, the cap automatically returns to its position. This base model has screws hidden by a cover plate; for maintenance, the socket base can be removed from above.
